Hampi: Kailash Kher, one of the most loved singers of India, was ill-treated at Hampi Utsav when he was hurled with a half-empty water bottle by two accused.   They were immediately arrested by the police. The unruly individuals hurled the half-empty bottles at Kher for not singing Kannada songs. The singer however clarified that he wanted to give a surprise to the people at the event by singing a sequence of Kannada songs sung by late actor Puneeth Rajkumar.   During the performance at the stage, Kher said he did not realise the incident, but only later.   "There were 50,000 energetic people in the audience and he did not even realise when the incident took place. New Delhi: After much speculation surrounding the role on whom the film’s title is based, Anurag Kashyap has revealed Vicky Kaushal as DJ Mohabbat in his directorial ‘Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat’.   This also marks the fourth collaboration between Anurag and the actor, who plays a special role and will feature in a never-seen-before avatar in the coming-of-age romantic film.   Talking about Vicky’s special role in the film, Anurag said in a statement, ‘The character of DJ Mohabbat is so integral to the story, that I wanted someone special to play it. New Delhi: Yash Raj Film’s (YRF) latest release ‘Pathaan’, has created history at the box office registering unprecedented numbers.   While the film has been making and breaking records each day, Pathaan’s much celebrated party anthem ‘Besharam Rang’ has made a mark on the global map and has become a massive chartbuster. New Delhi: Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) ‘Pathaan’, directed by Siddharth Anand, has emerged as a historic hit as it clocked another century plus day and bagged Rs 113.6 crore on day two, taking the total worldwide gross collection to an astronomical Rs 219.6 crores.   On day two, ‘Pathaan’ collected Rs 68 crore net in Hindi format, while dubbed formats earned Rs 2.5 crore net. The total India collection on day two was Rs 70.50 crore net (82.94 crore gross). It thus became the first Hindi film to breach Rs 70 crore net collection on a single day. Mumbai: Maharashtra women's commission directed Mumbai police to take 'immediate' action against social media attention seeker Urfi Javed for allegedly wearing indecent outfits.   Commission Chief Rupali Chakankar on Tuesday wrote to the Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar asking him to take appropriate action in response to complaint made by BJP leader Chitra Wagh.   Urfi Javed has been entangled in a war of words with Chitra Wagh after the latter slammed her over her dressing style.   Wagh also took the matter to the police and expressed disdain over their inaction; she threatened stern action against her indecent outfits.   Sharing the letter on her social media, she wrote, "Maharashtra State Commission for Women has received the complaint application of Urfi Javed.
