The Art of Living launches trailer of its first web production 'Adi Shankaracharya' on occasion of Dussehra (VIDEO)

The production promises to offer a gripping portrayal of Adi Shankaracharya's early years, as he travels across India, reviving the spiritual ethos and traditions that continue to thrive today. Season 1 of the series will consist of 10 episodes, each approximately 40 minutes long, and will cover the first eight years of the Adi Shankaracharya’s life.
"Adi Shankaracharya is an important figure in Indian history whose name is well known but not everyone knows about his life story," said Nakul Dhawan, Trustee, Sri Sri Publications Trust, "he had a very short but eventful life in which he traveled the length and breadth of the country on foot in those times, unifying the cultural fabric of the country. The traditions and institutions he started survive and thrive to this day and he is the architect of India's cultural renaissance."
Speaking about the project, director Onkar Nath Mishra said, "This series is a tribute to the great Aadi Shankaracharya, whose wisdom, intellect, and spiritual strength shaped the nation. In a time when India was divided into over 300 states, Adi Shankaracharya walked across the country, uniting it under the banner of Sanatan Dharma. His contribution to the cultural and spiritual renaissance of India is immeasurable, and we aim to bring his story to life in a way that resonates with modern audiences."
The release of the Adi Shankaracharya trailer on such a significant day marks the beginning of what promises to be a monumental journey into India’s spiritual past. The series will be available from 1st November on the Art of Living App, bringing the greatest ever national hero’s inspiring life story to a global audience.
