New Delhi: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and actor Zaheer Iqbal celebrated their wedding with a grand reception at Bastian in Dadar, Mumbai.

The couple, who tied the knot on Sunday in an intimate ceremony, hosted the lavish event attended by numerous Bollywood celebrities, including Kajol, Salman Khan, Rekha, Anil Kapoor.

The reception was marked by a series of lively moments, including a performance by popular singer Honey Singh.

The newlyweds, dressed in matching ivory outfits, made a striking appearance as they posed for the paparazzi and mingled with guests.

One of the highlights of the evening was a massive white wedding cake adorned with floral designs and the initials 'ZS'. Sonakshi and Zaheer were seen singing "Tere Mast Mast Do Nain", adding a personal touch to the celebration.

Shatrughan Sinha opened up about his daughter marrying the boy of her choice. "44 years ago, Shatrughan Sinha married a very successful, very beautiful, very talented girl of his choice, Poonam Sinha. Now it is Sonakshi's turn to marry the boy of her choice," he said.

Bollywood star Kajol was seen enjoying the festivities, dancing with the couple, and even receiving a kiss on the cheek from Sonakshi.

Honey Singh's performance of "Angrezi Beat" had the crowd, including the newlyweds, dancing energetically. Another video captured the couple dancing to "Chhaiya Chhaiya," with Zaheer in a white sherwani matching steps with Sonakshi.

The guest list boasted several prominent names from the film industry, including Tabu, Richa Chadha, Ayushmann Khurrana, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Raveena Tandon.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's wedding festivities began earlier in the week with an indoor party on June 20 and a mehendi ceremony on June 21.

The wedding ceremony itself was a private affair and a legal marriage, attended by close friends and family. The couple's happiness was evident as they embraced and Zaheer kissed Sonakshi’s hand, marking the start of their new journey together.

On the day of the reception, Sonakshi posted a heartfelt picture on Instagram with her husband, Zaheer Iqbal. She captioned the photo, "On this very day, seven years ago (23.06.2017), in each other's eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today, love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs leading up to this moment, where, with the blessings of both our families and both our gods, we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope, and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever."
