Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal has dedicated the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Award to the Indian Army.Vicky Kaushal has won the Best Actor (Critics) award for his role in the film 'Sam Bahadur' at the 'Dada Saheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2024'.

Kaushal could not go himself to receive this award. In such a situation, he has shared a video on Instagram.In the video, Vicky Kaushal said, “Many thanks to the jury of the Dadasaheb Phalke (International Film Festival) Award for honoring me with the Best Actor (Critics) Award for my work in Sam Bahadur. ...It means a lot to me.:

He expressed his gratitude to the film's director Meghna Gulzar, producer Ronnie Screwvala and the entire team of 'Sam Bahadur' (including all the technicians, writers and co-actors) for their immense support.

"The support enabled me. Because of which I was able to give my best. I heartily thank the family of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw for their help, love and support. This is for my dear viewers who watched this film in theatres, gave it a lot of love and supported us a lot. Thank you very much and last but not least this is dedicated to Indian Army," he added. Accused in firing outside Salman Khan's house case wants to turn approver

Mumbai: A person facing MCOCA charges in connection with the firing outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence in Bandra suburbs here has expressed his desire to turn approver in the case, sources in the Mumbai Crime Branch said.   Without disclosing the identity of the accused, the sources said that one of those arrested in the April 14 shooting case and facing charges under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) has express his desire to be an approver and necessary procedure prescribed under the law has been set into motion.   As per procedure, the probe agency will first record the accused's confession before a high ranking officer not part of the ongoing investigation, and later the same will be recorded before a magistrate, the sources added.   The confessional statement will be the part of evidence and it will be used against him as well as other accused facing charges, they said.   On Monday, three accused arrested in the case were sent
