Heer Aasmani: 'Fighter' unveils heartfelt glimpse into lives of Air Force Pilots with new song - WATCH

As Siddharth Anand prepares to launch his upcoming directorial spectacle "Fighter," he offers audiences a unique insider's view into the lives of Air Force pilots through his latest song, "Heer Aasmani."

Heer Aasmani: Fighter unveils heartfelt glimpse into the lives of Air Force Pilots with new song

In a statement about the song's creation, Anand expressed, "Heer Aasmani gives a very up-close glimpse into the life of Air Force Pilots. You see them on duty - in the briefing rooms, training sessions, preparing for their missions; and then there is another side that is when they are in the locker rooms, in their downtime hanging out around their accommodations, stringing the guitar by the bonfires, all these have been my first-hand observations into these very real lifestyles of our Fighters."

He added saying "Heer Aasmani has been shot at real locations, from the Air bases to Kashmir, every backdrop conveys a specific aspect of the song. At the air base we shot with real fighter jets and choppers, they add to the authenticity of each frame and enhance emotions. It was truly a surreal experience to shoot briefing scenes on hangars amidst stationed Sukhoi's. Then there were the off-duty team bonding scenes that we shot in Kashmir in below freezing point temperature. Shooting in Kashmir was a dream come true, for as a filmmaker I always wanted to capture its heavenly beauty on celluloid. I am happy that with my first production, I got the opportunity to check this off my bucket list. The entire cast and crew had a lot of fun playing kabaddi in the snow, living together and treated this as a real life bonding exercise too, as the Kashmir schedule was intentionally positioned right in the beginning of our film's production journey. So in the literal sense, Kashmir was an ice breaking schedule for us all."

"Fighter" promises to be a visual extravaganza, offering audiences a compelling narrative intertwined with the authenticity of real-life Air Force experiences. "Heer Aasmani" serves as a testament to Anand's commitment to authenticity and storytelling prowess.

Touted as India’s first aerial action magnum opus, Fighter is presented by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures. Helmed by Director Siddharth Anand, who also directed Hrithik in the blockbuster, War, the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 25, 2024.

Fighter promises to redefine the action genre with its gripping storyline, breathtaking visuals, and stellar performances, a Siddharth Anand hallmark lately.
