New Delhi: A Jewish organisation has written to Amazon Prime, asking it to remove the recently released Bollywood film 'Bawal' from its streaming service platform, media reports said. The Jewish human rights organisation Simon Weisenthal Centre issued a statement saying that 'Auschwitz should not be used as a metaphor because it is a perfect example of the human capacity for evil'. The organisation has alleged that the genocide of the Jews (Holocaust) has been 'depicted in a senseless manner' in the film. Srinagar: Shooting for Naaz Kazi’s “At Last” based on the happenings of Jammu and Kashmir will start after August 15.   Talking to media persons in Srinagar on Tuesday producer Naaz Kazi said that the film titled “At Last” is a militant and military based story that happened in Jammu and Kashmir in the past.   Naaz said the unique selling point (USP) of this film is sincerity, love and humanity. A sex scene from the recently released Hollywood movie "Oppenheimer" has drawn online outrage in India, after it was heavily criticized by Hindu nationalist groups.    One scene from the biographical drama about US physicist Robert Oppenheimer shows the protagonist reciting a verse from the Bhagavad Gita just before sexual intercourse. Hollywood movie 'Oppenheimer' a full house at Kashmir’s only cinema hall

Srinagar: Director-writer Christopher Nolan's epic Thriller 'Oppenheimer witnessed a full house in Kashmir’s only multiplex.   This is the first time that a Hollywood movie is running houseful in Kashmir after the only multiplex was re-opened in September last year.   Vikas Dhar, who runs Kashmir’s lone cinema theatre in association with Inox, said Oppenheimer is doing very well.   “Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan had attracted a huge rush at our cinema. SC stays proceedings pending in various HCs against film Adipurush

New Delhi: Supreme Court on Friday stayed the proceedings pending in various High Courts against Hindi film Adipurush, and dismissed a PIL filed by a practicing lawyer, seeking revocation of CBFC certification of the movie for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.   A bench of the Top Court, headed by Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, passed the order, after hearing a plea seeking revocation of the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) certificate for the Hindi film, Adipurush.   It stayed the proceedings in multiple High Courts against Adipurush movie makers.   Allahabad High Court had earlier last week directed producer, director and dialogue writer of the movie to personally appear before it.   The Apex Court also cautioned courts against sitting in appeal over censor board certification in such matters.   Harish Salve, senior lawyer and former Solicitor General (SG) appearing for the Film Producer, told the Supreme Court that countless people are going before various Hi
