I finally know what it means to BE in a scene: Diana Penty on working with Amitabh Bachchan in Section 84

Diana Penty has wrapped her upcoming film Section 84, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nimrat Kaur and Abhishek Chaubey. Announcing the wrap on social media, Diana shared images from the sets with a heartwarming note commemorating the experience.

 

The actress said, “And it's a WRAP. On what has been an incredibly special journey for me. Before we began shooting #Section84, I was beyond excited to be working with @amitabhbachchan for the first time, but also so damn nervous!! But now that we've been through a film together I can safely say, it has been one of the most enriching experiences of my career. As an actor, I finally know what it means to 'BE' in a scene. Mr. Bachchan allows you to do that, and gives you space to do so much more. Watching and observing him is like witnessing a masterclass.

 

Also, finally got to hang out with @nimratofficial and @nowitsabhi on set. Here's proof that we're actually in the same film

Diana had earlier expressed her excitement to delve into this new genre and to work with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.
 

Beginning the year with the Akshay Kumar starrer Selfie, Diana was recently seen in the Shahid Kapoor co-starrer Bloody Daddy. Playing a cop for the first time, Diana was the only honest character in the world of deceitful action and crime in Bloody Daddy.

 

From making a global splash at the Cannes Film Festival last month, to a streak of projects releasing soon, Diana Penty is on a roll!

Accused in firing outside Salman Khan's house case wants to turn approver

Mumbai: A person facing MCOCA charges in connection with the firing outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence in Bandra suburbs here has expressed his desire to turn approver in the case, sources in the Mumbai Crime Branch said.   Without disclosing the identity of the accused, the sources said that one of those arrested in the April 14 shooting case and facing charges under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) has express his desire to be an approver and necessary procedure prescribed under the law has been set into motion.   As per procedure, the probe agency will first record the accused's confession before a high ranking officer not part of the ongoing investigation, and later the same will be recorded before a magistrate, the sources added.   The confessional statement will be the part of evidence and it will be used against him as well as other accused facing charges, they said.   On Monday, three accused arrested in the case were sent
