Priyanka Chopra opens up on leaving Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut claims Karan Johar 'banned' her after Shah Rukh Khan 'friendship'

After Priyanka Chopra’s recent interview where she revealed that she decided to take a break from Bollywood after she was being “pushed into a corner”, Kangana Ranaut claimed that Karan Johar “banned" PeeCee from Hindi film industry because of her “friendship” with Shah Rukh Khan.
 

In a series of tweets, Kangana claimed that Karan “harassed” Priyanka Chopra to a point where “she had to leave India”.
 
Sharing an article titled “Priyanka Chopra says she moved to the US because had ‘beef’ with people in Bollywood”, The ‘Emergency’ actress on Tuesday wrote:
 
“This is what Priyanka Chopra has to say about bollywood, “people ganged up on her, bullied her and chased her out of film industry” a self made woman was made to leave India. Everyone knows Karan Johar had banned her”


 
In another tweet, she wrote, “Media wrote extensively about her fall out with Karan Johar because of her friendship with SRK and movie mafia Cruella who is always looking for vulnerable outsiders saw a perfect punching bag in PC and went all out in harassing her to a point where she had to leave India.”


 
“This obnoxious, jealous, mean and toxic person should be held accountable for ruining the culture and environment of film industry which was never hostile to outsiders in the days of AB or SRK.His gang and mafia PR should be raided and held accountable for harassing outsiders,” she added.


 
Priyanka Chopra in a recent interview revealed that she decided to take a break from Bollywood after she was being “pushed into a corner" and got “tired of politics"
 
She shared, “I was being pushed into a corner in the industry (Bollywood). I had people not casting me, I had beef with people, I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break.”
 
She added, “This music thing gave me an opportunity to go into another part of the world, not crave for the movies I didn’t want to get but I would require to schmooze certain clubs and cliques of people. It would require groveling and I had worked a long time by then that I didn’t feel like I wanted to do it.”
 
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is all set to make her Bollywood comeback through the Farhan Akhtar directorial ‘Jee Le Zara’, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. She will also feature in second TV series, ‘Citadel’.

Accused in firing outside Salman Khan's house case wants to turn approver

Mumbai: A person facing MCOCA charges in connection with the firing outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence in Bandra suburbs here has expressed his desire to turn approver in the case, sources in the Mumbai Crime Branch said.   Without disclosing the identity of the accused, the sources said that one of those arrested in the April 14 shooting case and facing charges under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) has express his desire to be an approver and necessary procedure prescribed under the law has been set into motion.   As per procedure, the probe agency will first record the accused's confession before a high ranking officer not part of the ongoing investigation, and later the same will be recorded before a magistrate, the sources added.   The confessional statement will be the part of evidence and it will be used against him as well as other accused facing charges, they said.   On Monday, three accused arrested in the case were sent
