WATCH - Trailer of Alia Bhatt, Vijay Varma, Shefali Shah starrer ‘Darlings’ OUT!

New Delhi: After the phenomenal response to the teaser and the poster of ‘Darlings’, the trailer of the much anticipated dark comedy was released on Monday.
 

‘Darlings’ is produced by Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt and Gaurav Verma and marks the feature film debut for director Jasmeet K Reen. With an exceptionally versatile cast including Alia, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew in lead roles, ‘Darlings’ is a dark comedy entertainer brimming with secrets, mystery and drama.
 
The film delves into the lives of a resilient mother-daughter, fighting for love and finding their footing in Mumbai whilst also battling their demons.
 
Alia, kicking off her maiden production (Eternal Sunshine) with ‘Darlings’ said, “Darlings is special, the moment I read the script, I wanted to be a part of the film not only as an actor, but to play a larger role in bringing such unique stories to the viewers. I can’t hold back my excitement as we unveil the hard work of some amazing co-actors, partner producers and Jasmeet. It’s an engaging tale that we all can’t wait to bring you through Netflix.”

Accused in firing outside Salman Khan's house case wants to turn approver

Mumbai: A person facing MCOCA charges in connection with the firing outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence in Bandra suburbs here has expressed his desire to turn approver in the case, sources in the Mumbai Crime Branch said.   Without disclosing the identity of the accused, the sources said that one of those arrested in the April 14 shooting case and facing charges under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) has express his desire to be an approver and necessary procedure prescribed under the law has been set into motion.   As per procedure, the probe agency will first record the accused's confession before a high ranking officer not part of the ongoing investigation, and later the same will be recorded before a magistrate, the sources added.   The confessional statement will be the part of evidence and it will be used against him as well as other accused facing charges, they said.   On Monday, three accused arrested in the case were sent
