"Feel like a newcomer": Nervous Alia Bhatt flies to Hollywood for 'Heart of Stone'

Mumbai: Alia Bhatt is all set to take her steps into the world of Hollywood. Starring in a spy thriller titled “Heart of Stone” produced by and starring Gal Gadot and directed by Tom Harper, the Bollywood actress took to social media to express her nervousness stating that she felt like a novice and a newcomer to the industry again.
 

Captioning a photo of herself wearing a black top with gold earring, she wrote: “And off I go to shoot my first ever Hollywood film!!!! Feel like a newcomer all over again – sooooo nervous!!!! Wish me luckkkkkkk”

With a script developed by Allison Schroeder and Greg Rucka, 'Heart of Stone' also stars Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo, Matthias Schweighöfer, Jing Lus.
 
The details are currently under wraps. The actress married Ranbir Kapoor last month on April 14, and has currently got a whole pack of films lined up.
 
Bhatt was recently lauded for her performance in “Gangubai Kathiawadi” and also made her debut in Telugu cinema with the ultra hit fire packed action epic “RRR”.
 
She is currently also set to star in “Brahmastra”, “Darlings” and “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani”. (UNI)

Accused in firing outside Salman Khan's house case wants to turn approver

Mumbai: A person facing MCOCA charges in connection with the firing outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence in Bandra suburbs here has expressed his desire to turn approver in the case, sources in the Mumbai Crime Branch said.   Without disclosing the identity of the accused, the sources said that one of those arrested in the April 14 shooting case and facing charges under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) has express his desire to be an approver and necessary procedure prescribed under the law has been set into motion.   As per procedure, the probe agency will first record the accused's confession before a high ranking officer not part of the ongoing investigation, and later the same will be recorded before a magistrate, the sources added.   The confessional statement will be the part of evidence and it will be used against him as well as other accused facing charges, they said.   On Monday, three accused arrested in the cas...
