The leads of Sony Entertainment Television's magnum opus ‘Punyashlok Ahilyabai’, Aetashaa Sansgiri, Gaurav Amlani, Snehalata Vasaikar and Vallari Viraj come together to celebrate Earth Day. In order to celebrate this day, the entire team planted saplings around the set to spread awareness about investing in our planet as that’s the need of the hour and together we can protect our mother Earth; Because a green future is a prosperous future.
Promoting the message of 'Each One Plant One', the four of them were seen making a difference, making Earth Day not only a date on the calendar but a step of reminding humankind, of their responsibility towards their home.
On behalf of all, Aetshaa spoke about how this Earth Day, they wanted people to be more kind towards the world, saying," Whenever Earth Day comes, we usually do not take notice and see it as just another day which needs to change. We need to be kinder towards our mother nature that has given us bountiful gifts. While none of it is permanent, it’s our duty to protect it as responsible citizens. Technology has made our lives easier but at the same time we should not be so dependent on them because of its drastic impact on the environment that is choking our planet."
"This Earth Day, we want to request our fans to invest in our planet by either planting trees, saving water and avoid using plastics as much as possible. Also, whenever you see a plant, if you have water left in your water bottle, do not just throw it away rather just water your plant with it. The planet was once covered with greenery which is scarce now. Let's make our planet green again and help make our mother Earth a beautiful place. 'Each One Plant One'! Let’s all do our bit as citizens of the Earth," Aetshaa added.
