Lock Upp: Payal Rohatgi reveals ‘I did vashikaran puja to save my career’; Kangana Ranaut jokes ‘Sangram must be wondering if he loves you because of kaala-jaadu’

In the latest episode of Lock Upp, Payal Rohatgi revealed she did vashikaran (black magic) to save her career. However, she said that it didn't bear any fruitful result.
 

She said, “I have been in the industry for 15 years and there was a time when my career was not doing well. Then I did tantric puja to push my career forward. I don’t think any educated woman, woman or a professional would think that one should do this type of puja to take their career forward. Even if you do, it should be hidden. There is something called vashikaran, which I had done. There was a pujari in Delhi, he told me to think about the person, or bring any of that person’s possession, whom I want to influence. So I did many things. But nothing of it helped me. I had this fear that if I tell anything to anyone, or my mom that I did vashikaran to save my career and it didn’t help me, people would make fun of me. This has been a secret, which I don’t think any professional would seek to push their career.”
 
Then, host Kangana Ranaut said, “What did you do? Kaala jaadu ? You tried to influence people by doing black magic. Payal, I think you are so beautiful and talented, you don’t need tantric to influence people. You can anyway influence them. When I came in the industry, I was also told ye ladki kaala jaadu karti hai. When a girl is successful, people doubt her credibility… kuch toh tilasmani taakaat hogi. You have shown lot of strength in telling this though it bombed.”
 
Kangana further said, “Now Sangram would be thinking, do I really love Payal or tantric had done some vashikaran?.” Payal replied, “Let him believe what he wants to believe. I have not done it on him. We are not vashikaran product.”

Accused in firing outside Salman Khan's house case wants to turn approver

Mumbai: A person facing MCOCA charges in connection with the firing outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence in Bandra suburbs here has expressed his desire to turn approver in the case, sources in the Mumbai Crime Branch said.   Without disclosing the identity of the accused, the sources said that one of those arrested in the April 14 shooting case and facing charges under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) has express his desire to be an approver and necessary procedure prescribed under the law has been set into motion.   As per procedure, the probe agency will first record the accused's confession before a high ranking officer not part of the ongoing investigation, and later the same will be recorded before a magistrate, the sources added.   The confessional statement will be the part of evidence and it will be used against him as well as other accused facing charges, they said.   On Monday, three accused arrested in the case were sent
